In 2020 Kris and his wife Becca started a singer-songwriter duo - Kris & Becca Redus. Their debut album Be The Village: Songs of Hope For Foster Care was written about their journey through fostering and adoption. After serving in this ministry for nearly 4 years, they now have 6 permanent children and priceless memories of several others who have since moved on to the next chapter in their story. Kris and Becca wanted to capture the joys and hardships of their family’s journey as well as encourage the church and the foster care community at large.

Be The Village was entirely self produced and recorded at Kris’ studio, Village Art Recording. You’ll find lush acoustic/folk soundscapes, soaring melodies and deep heartfelt lyrics that champion compassion in the face darkness. Kris and Becca were excited to involve their kids on the project as well - giving them opportunities to sing and engineer the sessions! This is truly an album for the whole family.
